Curve & Line Nail Palour @ Bencoolen

i had a package of gel nails with them. compared to ard 1 yr ago, the quality of their gel deteriorate alot. previously before this package, i did once and it was very good, last long, like abt 3 to 4 weeks. but this time round, it only last ard 2weeks plus and my pointing finger alr broke off during the 1st week!

their prices are also much costly compared to other nail bars in the same vincity.. and for cny, i know that these kinda service shops, like nail or hair salon usually will increase their rates when it's ard one week prior to the festival. but this shop has a "unique" kinda rates increment:

2weeks prior to cny eve: $10-$20 on top of the U.P.
1week prior to cny eve: $30-$40 on top of the U.P.

like daylight robbery rite? its like normally my gel session only cost $70+ (package) per session, den now it became wat, $110? more than 50% ex!(50% of the $70 is only $35) even costly than cab fare lo, cab only charge 50% on top of the fare during midnight rite?

and their service is also so-so only. they kinda choose customer, if ur spending quite a big sum or regularly spending there, they will serve u good, like chat with u, compliment u(which is damn fake). but if ur a walk-in or jus doing express/normal mani, the boss(grace) will assign her mother to attend to u. thou her mum also knoe how to do, but her taste is kinda diff to teens/adults rite? and she got some eyesight prob(as most elderly hav), resulting in smudging nail colours, and her mum is also very attitude 1 lor. saw her talking to a lady once, and say things lke "u must make appt, if next time nv make appt, we wun serve u lei"

they also very hard-sell, ask u buy nail care products saying, ur nail veru brittle, very dry, etc.

luckily, its my last session in the package, will not go there anymore!

my advice: dun go!

Bad online purchase=(

sian~ wanted a new GHD hair straightener so badly but jus dun hav that extra cash to buy a $169~$200+ from those online retailers.. so my cheapskate self got the better of me and i went to buy one which cost $120 from a not authorized retailer..

at 1st, it was so far so good, cos she even provided free delivery, and even when it was within 3 hrs from when i made my order.. so i thought, quite a deal rite?  it was $139 but i asked for a discount so it became $120.. i wanted pure white but she said there's no more stock and there's only left black and pink.. so i chose a black instead..

den when she brought it to me, we were meeting at the void deck of my blk, and it was v dark la.. i trusted her to b honest as she promised the set to b brand new.. so i jus open up the box to check if everything was intact.. but when i rch hm and opened up, to my astonishment, it was an opened set and the styler's GHD logo is blurred and even hav scratches! i was quite angry and disappointed, darling was abit fed up cos he had told me not to buy in the 1st place, but i insisted..

so i immediately smsed that girl and told her my displeased, but she insisted that it was a brand new set.. i couldnt take this lying down so i threatened her that if she dun do an exchange for me, i wil go to the CASE and lodge a complaint.. she den agreed to change another set for me but there's only pink left and i hav to go to her place to exchange.. luckily im on off day for the next day..

and so, i exchanged a new pink GHD and am happy with it! i checked and checked and found it to b brand new this time~

i learnt a lesson, not to b too trustful towards strangers and always double check anything before receiving! omg, luckily i got a satisfied exchange=) look wat i did to my hair with my new straightener~

2 stupid customers

today 2 stupid indian customers came and bought a dv cam from me..


they came and asked me which is the best dv cam, so i recommended them the most expensive one in my shop.. ok, there's one older guy and one younger guy, the younger guy dunno and dun understand english but the old guy understand a lil bit.. so it's the young guy buying, but the old guy help him translate(though i oso dun really understand his eng).

i let them try the camera and the young guy say ok, he want to buy. den i go get a new set for him. the old guy keep asking me for a discount so i say ok, i gave a 20bucks discount(damn nice hor me). den he keep talking to me and most of the time i dun understand what is he saying.. aft that before they wanna pay, the old guy ask me for my email add.. i dunno wat for la. but i say ok lor, at most go see my facebook nia.. den they havent pay lei, must let them pay 1st mah.. lols..

aft they pay alr the old guy ask me if i can bring him ard singapore and say that they are from pattaya.. lols.. i pretend i dun understand his eng, den he keep explaining, so i say i recommend u where to go. den he tell me where his hotel, ask me go find him and be his tour guide, omg~ i say CANNT! den he know im angry so he quickly explain say he dun mean much.. den he ask me to email him. lols.. he say he'll be waiting, omg, feeling sick alr=(

yeah.. it's so long since i last blogged.. cos i've been busy.. damn busy and damn tired from all those stuffs abt the new shop.. it's all abt cameras and media players.. we sell portable players as well, u knoe, those like 5" to 7" hand-held players which can play videos and music? well, for some of u who spent like more time on the the MRT or buses than an infront of the TV, u are going to like these.. cos u can catch ur exciting episodes of the hongkong or taiwan dramas instead of wasting time dozing off on trains and buses, rite? lols.. guess im a qualified promoter alr.. anyway wil post some pics of the products im selling and giv mi some opinions k?

okays, back to mi.. so recently im not damn happy most of the time.. i dunno how to say, but jus not as happy as before.. u may ask if its becos of work or relationship? though its not abt my relationship but.. i jus dun smile that often anymore.. isit becos i've grown up? for the real time, im matured? thats why i take many things more seriously than before? or am i jus moody becos i put on weight? duhh.. am so stupid lols..

btw i cut bangs, personally, i think it looks okay.. but very sian cos need to go cut them every now and then cos they like grow so fast lei.. i dunno why, they jus keep blocking my eyesight.. lols.. i dunno if i wanna leave the bangs on mi, or grow back my old hairstyle? nvm.. shall think abt it.. i will ponder everyday and every night.. lols.. next time den i post some photos bah.. ceeya soon;)

my Thailand trip=)

woots, so im back from Thailand.. we were there for the Songkran Festival(splash water fest) so i din bring along my camera, scared wil spoil.. lols.. but it was funn la..

day1- we took a plane from sg to penang den rest at my aunt's hse and wait for the mini passenger van to pick us up.. so we board the van and took ard 3 hrs ride to rch HatYai.. in the van i slp awhile cos v tired due to the plane ride.. so when we rch there we went str to the hotel.. we went to walk walk ard near the hotel and bought some snacks to eat.. cos tml is the actual day of the songkran so today got nth much to do.. so aft eat we went with my uncle they all to the Thai disco.. where there is the strip-dance.. lols.. actually the girls dun really strip la, they stil got a sticker on their nipples aft they took off their bikinis.. lols.. but all really damn pretty lo..

day2- we woke up early in the morning to hav breakfast den waited in the lobby for the rest of my relatives.. den while waiting me and hubby went outside to take a look.. den there came a hotel bellboy come running to us with a bucket of water.. lols.. so we quickly get back into the hotel.. lols.. den my uncle told me that we cannt leave the hotel without getting wet. cos it's the songkran festival today.. lols.. so later when we went outside again we hav no choice but to let him throw water at us..

den its funny cos along the way, u find alot of water by the roadside free of charge, u can grab ur own bucket and use their water to splash at each other.. so we continue to walk den we bought water-guns.. lols.. we went to this lane whereby it's the most crowded lane with everyone throw buckets of water at anyone who passes by.. den there's this dunno wat powder, they put water in the powder then wipe them onto the face of any people that they see.. my uncle say it's oso a form of blessing.. lols.. we lasted for like 5 or 6hrs there den hungry so went back hotel.. u knoe, they dun hav taxi but if u wanna go anywhere u can take motor, which only cost RM2 per ride and can seat 2 passenger.. lols.. so we v tired and dun wanna walk back so we took the motor instead.. lols.. me and hubby can actually sit behind that uncle and stil got space to hold our water-guns.. lols.. it's damn fun lo.. so at night we ate at the restaurant opposite the hotel..

day3- we woke up early to hav breakfast den went to the nearby street market to shop.. actually oso got nth much to buy cos all is food, snacks and preserved food.. lols.. hubby bought maggie mee, can u imagine? lols... i bought some crackers and sweets lo.. some t-shirts and a long dress.. nth much la.. den we need to go back hotel to wait for the mini van to come pick us up and go back to penang..

overall it's still fun cos of the songkran festival=)

my marvellous march

we went to celebrate my birthday on the 3oth of march instead of the 29th cos i cudnt exchange off-day wit my colleuge due to she needs to go back JB to do some 清明扫墓.. so we went to walk walk at THE CATHAY and we ate at the ASTONS.. lunch was fabulous except for the squeezy tables due to their overwhelming business.. lols.. and i did some curlings to my hair.. lols.. cos hubby love them.. hubby went to get me a bouquet of blue roses.. (though it's not my favorite color but i love it nonetheless) thx hubby for that surprise=)

yupp, so i love these flowers cann? andd so i keep shooting them and shooting them with my samsung camera.. lols.. btw i chuck the old flowers away, it was from hubby last year on my birthday.. it was dusty and withered alr.. so this time i got a vase andd decided to change h2o every nite.. so as to keep it last as long as possible... but i cannt find a nice vase cos ah ma only hav those very old design like antiques so i decided to use the macdonalds free gift, the coke glass!! lols..

yup yupp, this is one of my presents for this year's birthday=) it's a CHANEL handbag from my aunt.. i love it.. was actually choosing between a black or a pink but the black is in a larger design and i looked too big on me.. so i hav to get this pink one instead.. it's limited as it is a season design so stil orite bah.. heez...

my colleuges at simlim gathered together andd gave me an angbao of abt $300+ den aunt top-up abit and bought a gold bangle for me.. it even had a carving of 22 on it. aunt say cos it meant it's my 22nd birthday.. lols..

my sistas celebrated with me 3days earlier andd they treat me to ASTONS and we had a fantastic chat over dinner.. they even did a DIY cake for me, really appreciate it so much.. needa wait for szehui to send me the photos before i can post it=) and we had a long chat while having ice-cream at PS... den aft that szehui's vincent came and drove us home.. had a wonderful evening with them=)
